Hi, my cat keeps throwing up and she wont eat. She threw up foamy liquid the first time. But the next time it was a little less foamy. And now its kind of yellow with lumps in it. Im really worried as she wont eat or drink this has happened since this morning. What do you think could be wrong with her? She is normally quite healthy nearly 2. She looks sort of tried at the moment but still plays with me, however she wont eat and if she eats a tiny bit she throws up. Also she wont drink anything. PLEASE HELP! I’m so worried! I can’t stop crying I love her so much, will she die? My mum said wait until tomorrow to see if shes any better. But my mum doesn’t want to bring her to the vets yet because its expensive and we have no pet insurance. Please help me! And don’t just say bring her to the vets please. I’m desperate!!!!!!! Please I’ll be so grateful if you answer! Thank you so much x

Take all her food and water away for 24 hours. After that introduce a little boiled white rice and chicken. Give her water back too. If she eats it and doesn’t throw up, give her a little more. you can give her normal food back the next day in small quantities.
If she’s still vomiting just call the vet to see what they advise. Tell them what you’ve done so far. They may or may not want to see her right away. If she goes too long without fluids she could become dehydrated from vomiting.
Check around and see if there’s anything she could have eaten like house plants, toys, string or hair ties, etc.

I know you don’t want to hear it, but I’m going to say it anyway: you need to bring her to the vet. I wouldn’t be surprised if she ate something like a string and it is stuck in her digestive track. When animals are obstructed they keep vomiting violently. If that is the case, it requires immediate surgery. The yellow fluid you noticed is bile, by the way. Seriously, take her to the vet.

well even if she won’t take her to the vet you could at least ring and ask for advice, it may just be something she ate, my cat started being sick when he eat wet food, it could just be as simple as that. but the best person is the vet even if you don’t want to hear it (sorry), but ring 1st and see what they say.good luck xx

Well bring her to the vet, i mean all your doing is sitting their watching her die.she could have a tumor or something more serious. Better hurry.

for one thing – keep her inside. my cat goes out sometimes and eats grass and stuff that he shouldnt then vomits later. at some pet stores theres actually a type of grass that your cat eats that can prevent the vomiting though (i dont know too much about it because my mom bought it). and tell that mother of yours to take that cat to the vet!! because if she doesnt care about your cat then she doesnt care about you. and im so sorry about not having much adivise – i know how u feel – trust me…

My cat did the same thing for awhile, and yes shes still alive…
I think one of the problems is that I fed her people food…
Yes, I was very worried so eventualy I took her to the vet, all I had to do was give her medicine for a few days and then she was fine, if your mom thinks its to expencive you can take her to an animal hospital and it will only be like 30 bucks..
Hope she gets better!
And chances are that she wont die
