Keep the Tigra.
The Puma was just Fords feeble attempt at copying the concept. Lets not be shy about this, the puma is just a MK3 (not 4) fiesta is a shell suit.

definitely go with getting a puma,i drove my mums 1.7 for 6 years and she recently traded it in to get new car,i have never cried sooo much!

I prefer the tigra to the pumas, i think its nicer. if you can afford to pay more insurance, tax and fuel and you like the puma go for that one and you did say you liked it before you got the tigra so maybe you should give it a try. also after having a tigra and driving it you know what it is like, have you driven a puma, if so what are they like, do you like driving them, do you like the interior etc. if you havent driven one, drive one and see what you think cos you may buy one and think god this is awful.
i think the new tigra is absoluty gorgeous, i will be so jealous if you get the new one.

no in all seriousness go for the one that looks the best, is the most efficient, if you’re in love with the higher tax banded 1.7 one, then get it…just a question finance i suppose.
2 nice options though.

The Puma is the better car. It’s more fun and has superb handling. As for the insurance yes it will go up but not so much that you would have to ask Sir Alan Sugar for a loan.
The 1.7 is the engine that people want in their Puma. The 1.4 and 1.6 are not very good. Thats why they are hard to find because not many people wanted those engines
