Depending on what your problem is, your doctor may refer you to a specialist if you don’t start out at one. You probably will have to have the doctor contact your insurance to see if they cover a certain proceedure your doctor whats to give you.

All practicing doctor can order cat-scan if they find some thing abnormal need to find out what it is.The procedure is perform by radiologist and result also read by them.If order by the doctor and also document the reasion for this procedure the insurance co.had to cover the fee.

a radiologist, but many types of doctors will send you for a cat-scan !!! It depends on what’s wrong wid you !!!

a cat scan is usually done in a hospital radiology department but you will generally need a referal from your primary care doctor or neurologist for your insurance to cover the cost.

any type of doc can order a ct scan but for insurance to pay for it there has to be a legitimate reason for the test. a technician does the actual procedure and the hospital can tell you the cost.
