Am adopting a 6 mo. old ridgeback/rottie mix from HSUS, poorly socialized, nips out of fear, need to socialize with 8 yr. old cat (non-dog lover -abandonment fear issues by others) coming now to wide-open spaces and loving environ. Any ideas on behavioral techniques (for both), food feeding, puppy health insurance policies? Thanks.

how do people get 6 weeks free dog/cat insurance for you, when you buy a puppy or kitten? do you they up for free or pay for it? im buying a new kitten and it come swith 6 weeks free insurance and i just wondered how it worked! thanks :0)
