the vehicle had a new bumper and boot,no floor damage.i would like to get it inspected and taken off the insurance register but dont know how to go about this,its a lot off money to lose if it all goes wrong,please help me!

I have been told that my car was a cat ‘D’ insurance claim, it was originally bought from a dealer and I believe he should have informed me of this, if it is, what can i do about it?
