I’ve ran a check and its had 2 owners, was registered in March 2000, then was written off as a cat c in dec 2000. its done 51,000 miles and looks in top nick, will the fact that its a cat c affect my insurance? has anyone else bought a cat c car? Cheers

As long as the car is made road worthy then your insurance company will pay out the full amount in the event of a claim. To be on the safe side tell your insurance company when the work is complete, and to be extra safe get it in writing from them.

the vehicle had a new bumper and boot,no floor damage.i would like to get it inspected and taken off the insurance register but dont know how to go about this,its a lot off money to lose if it all goes wrong,please help me!
