I am astounded how many times I see on here that people have sick cats. Sometimes with life threatening conditions and yet they say “I can’t afford a vet right now” If people can’t afford to take care of their animal, they shouldn’t have them in the first place.

Do they have to use their own funds to pay for vet treatment for their cats that are in volunteers’ foster homes, or do they have insurance for this?
