Pet Insurance Question?

we are not insured for my cat. We recantly found out he had a form of heart disease. My mum says we cant have pet insurance now. Is this true?

    You possibly can but the heart problem will probably be excluded from the policy as it is preexisting. Also the policy will be loaded making it very expensive. Sorry for the bad news

    As you could only have found this out from your vet, it is in his records.
    Pre-existing conditions are excluded from all pet insurance plans. They insure against the unexpected – your cats condition is known already. You might be able to insure it but the policy would explicitly exclude any form of heart complaint or other complaints related to that.
