If my car was fully repaired by the insurance company , will it be on the register as cat c or cat d with an hpi check and will this affect the after sales value of my car?

you are not an idiot, what do you think???
would you buy a car that was wrecked (even if it was fixed) instead of one that wasn’t???

No it wont be recorded because it was not written off, but it will probably be reasonablyobvious that it has been repaired and such cars are avoided by people like me with motortrade experience because they rust in funny places, the water sits on the new paint funny after rain, and they often have steering, handling or braking problems.

Most likely cat d, and it may affect value of veh depending on what type of storm it was, and damage. If it was hail damage that shouldnt affect it to much.It will register under carfax if you try to sell it, and they may cause potential buyers to look away…

If you owned the vehicle when it was crashed and the insurance company DIDN’T write it off then its NOT registered

im afraid it will be on the register as damaged, which catagory depends on how much damage it had and yes im afraid it will affect the resale value
