I’ve ran a check and its had 2 owners, was registered in March 2000, then was written off as a cat c in dec 2000. its done 51,000 miles and looks in top nick, will the fact that its a cat c affect my insurance? has anyone else bought a cat c car? Cheers

It will put the insurance up as it’s seen as being at risk of structural failure.
But with the right insurance company this shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
