I Am Buying A Cat D Car Which Has Been Repaired, will My Insurance Pay Out Fully In The Event Of A Claim?

As long as the car is made road worthy then your insurance company will pay out the full amount in the event of a claim.
To be on the safe side tell your insurance company when the work is complete, and to be extra safe get it in writing from them.

Your excess may be higher but considering it is under your own policy and the car is road worthy then they dont usually change anything

A category D vehicle is one whose repairs do not exceed its pre-accident value. These vehicles are considered roadworthy once they have passed a Thatcham-approved structural examination. Assuming yours has been inspected & is considered roadworthy you should have no problem.
Make sure you tell the insurers though, and make sure you have it in writing that they are aware.

probably not -if they can get away without paying out, they will. They don’t need much of an excuse.

Should the vehicle be stolen or a total loss, your insurance company will pay out the LOWER of:
The value you declare on the proposal OR
The market value for a vehicle of that age and condition. (Suggest you take photographs!)
If the repair has been done by a competent garage there should be no further problems.
