$80-$100 is common in my area. It could be more or less, depending on where you live.
There are often low-cost spays available through your local animal shelter. It’s best to call around.
Good luck!

I didn’t even know you could have pet insurance. :/
The price varies a lot depending on the region and resources, and having a spay procedure is much more expensive than a neuter. I got my cat spayed for about $100, but it can go anywhere from $20-$300.
Try contacting a local humane association or pound- they may be able to do it for you for much cheaper, or point you towards a good vet.

Hi,
You can do a low cost spay neueter ….you can buy a certificate from friends of animals…go onto their website and you can buy the “coupon” from them and take it to a participating vet. Before you buy it look on thier site for vets in your area that will accept..call the vet you may want to use before you purchase the coupon and make sure they take it. It is very very reasonably priced. Again the website is friendsofanimals.com.

We have never had pet insurance on our pets, we have 2 cats and a gecko. Female cats are more to get fixed than males but it varies from city to city call around and ask people who they recommend. It is going to be over $100 if I remember correctly. Good Luck!
