I pay approx: £16 per month wet food (2 pouches a day of Felix)
£3 per month dry food (2 500g bags from Aldi)
£1 on toys (a £1 bag from Poundland which has 6 toys)
    £8 on insurance (Tesco’s)
£5 per month on flea and worming treatment (vets prescription, but bought cheaper on the internet)
Litter I pay £1.70 per bag (Aldi), but that lasts about a month as she prefers to go outside (for 2 litter trays cleaned out fully twice a month) (but scooped out after every use!)
So that works out at approx £35 per month. In addition is the annual check up and vaccinations and (because mine is an indoor/outdoor cat) an extra worm tablet on prescription I can’t remember what it cost me last time, but it was close on £100 per year for vets fees.
Some cats eat more, use their litter trays more and if pedigree, cost more in insurance. You can spend as much or as little as you want on toys and bedding.

My cats will eat any kind of dry food, so what ever is on sale is what I buy. I would say about $20-$30 a month and it will last for over a month and 1/2.
I make homemade toys out of old socks and etc. Go to search and type in HOMEMADE CAT TOYS….there is alot of neat toys to make.
If you get a tub of catnip, its about $10.00 which is a good deal :o )
Here in USA, some of our Pet Stores, like Petco, you can bring your cat there to get his shots every Sunday for a low price. It is cheaper than going to your vet but would take my cats to the vet if there is a emergency which is rare, they are pretty healthy cats.
Cats are cheaper to take care of then dogs (my opinion)
    Hope this helps…:o)

It depends on what kind of food you feed them and how much. You also have to consider litter for the cat box. You won’t have to buy new toys every month, and you shouldn’t have to take them to the vet monthly.

Get a budgie instead…….if the budgie doesn’t work out, get the cat, get the cat to eat the budgie and he will be full for a month….wont cost you a penny.

100 buck a month but I don’t think you would take the cat to the vet every week
food depends on what kind we spend 10 bucks a monthy
    toys 6 bucks
vet every six months 100 bucks
    litter 10 bucks a month
