Your best bet is to call the Department of Insurance in your state.
Most states have an exam that you have to take.
Some require you to attend so many hours of classes.
And once you get the license, some states require continuing education to keep it.
Insurance is regulated at the state level. So the requirements to get a license are set by each state.
