I was just at the vet yesterday, actually and they told me that some cats can have asthma. If the cat sounds like it is wheezing while it breathes there is a good chance that it could have it. Even if it does not sound like that, you should take it to the vet; for just a check up it would probably cost somewhere from $30 to $80. I, personally, would not care about price at this point and help the cat. Once you arrive at the vet, they will know what to do. Good luck and I hope the kitty gets better.

ok,there are alot of variables here.if the cat is indoor then it could have eaten something poisonous,or it could have an infection.if its outdoor,it could have been bitten by something(snake, rodent),or it could have been in a fight or hit or something.you need to take it to the vet or emergency animal clinic NOW!.it will probably be a few hundred dollars.its hard to tell ,not knowing whats going on id say around 200 or 300.you could probably work out something with the vet to play over time

Truth….. there is just no way any person here can answer this question correctly. Most office calls are at least $30. It can go up from there. I doubt that it will be less than $100. The vet will likely need some tests done in order to get some information, especially if the cat has not been to the vet before. This is really the best anyone can say. The rest depends on what the vet finds out.
