I want to get a cat. I am on a VERY low budget. I’m getting the cat free.
& I AM getting it vaccines & can you estimate how much the vaccines would cost?
Also, It would be very little likely for the cat to get sick.
& Do you know how much monthly do you have to pay for insurance?

Pet insurance is expensive on a monthly basis, but the earlier you get it the cheaper it is.
Different vets charge different amounts. Contact your local shelter to ask for referrals and tell them your circumstances.
I just did a Google search for “pet insurance” and this is the first that popped up, just don’t know the reputation of the company or webpage. Here’s the link: http://www.petinsurance.com/plans-and-co…
(EDIT: investigated this company and there is a lot of bad reviews. Here is a link to different companies according to rank and price:http://www.petinsurancereview.com/cat.as…
Also you don’t say where, in what part of the world, you are located, which makes a difference also. If you can included that in your additional details that will help others to give you a better answer.
Please know that pet care is not cheap, even if you don’t take them to the vet on a regular basis. Keeping the cat indoors is your safest bet along with a good brand of cat food, not just any old cheap brand. There are good brands that do not cost a lot too. Also make sure you get the cat fixed, which is not free, because that will cost you and your kitten in the near future.
Good luck with your new kitty.

you probably should look into pet insurance because you say that you don’t have much money.
