---get a cat insurance quote---

Okay my roommate has these 2 cats and we’re moving right and he can’t take them. I like cats kind of and these 2 are so incredibly awesome :( my friends mom told him they could take them and then last minute when I was walking out the door to take them, he called and said he couldn’t anymore….So I said I would because no one else will and I love them and I don’t want them to go to a shelter where they would be seperated (theyre bro and sis) or put to sleep….I move kind of frequently so I am a little nervous about it but my new roommates are cool with me having them…So now I wonder if there is car isurance, I mean now that I will be financially responsible, I wouldn’t want to be responsible for one getting sick and dying on me :( I don’t want to kill them. I have an okay job and all, taking care of them is okay, I just fear the worst thats all.

Keep in mind that you will have to pay monthly premiums for pet insurance. If one of them gets really sick with high medical bills, the insurance would be worth it. Otherwise you might be wasting your money. You might be better off saving the money on your own. If they didn’t get sick for 10 yrs and you saved $15 a month instead of paying insurance, you’d have $1800 saved up, plus interest after 10 years!! :)
If they are indoor cats, their risk of disease, illness, and accidents are greatly reduced.

I have insurance for all my cats, and believe me, it is a really good idea. My cats are also indoor cats, although they have access to a fully enclosed section of the garden, but they do, from time to time, get sick. The insurance I have covers everything, and is very prompt in settling claims. I have had cats who have been quite seriously ill, and if it were not for the insurance, am not sure how I would have coped financially sometimes. I don’t know which insurances you get in your country, but I am sure your vet would be happy to advise you.

You can get pet insurance but you should find out which pet insurance your vet prefers or accepts before purchasing any. Most folks will tell you it is a waste of money- especially if your cats stay indoors where you don’t have to worry about them getting in fights, hit with cars, or contracting diseases from other animals. The premiums on this type of insurance are usually more than simply paying for regular check ups and immunizations yourself. Here is a couple of websites to try:

Yeah they do. If your cat is still a kitten you can go to petsmart or petco and go to the vet section and ask them for insurance.
